The efficiency of the identification requirements for electrons is measured
using Z-> ee events. There are two types of selections:
"Tight" electrons require an electromagnetic shower with low hadronic
energy with ET > 20 GeV, a track with PT > 10 GeV
and tight cuts on the shower shape. The track is required in both the central
and forward calorimeters.
"Loose" electronshave less stringent shower shape requirements in the
central detector and no tracking requirement in the forward calorimeter.
